First Augmented Reality Browser for Symbian
Out now: The first Augmented Reality Browser is available on the Nokia Platform Symbian. The Symbian version follows closely along the lines of the existent Wikitude versions for Android and iPhone
Before today, Augmented Reality (AR) applications were reserved for iPhone 3gs and Android users. Now, with the Symbian version of Wikitude, also Nokia N97 and Nokia N97 mini owners can use their mobile phone camera as an Augmented Reality Browser. The application surface has been adapted for Nokia and existing control elements have been integrated to increase the user experience for Nokia customers.
“Everybody is talking about AR at the moment and there is a neck-and-neck race for further developments among the leading companies in the area. We are all the more pleased to be the first to provide our application Wikitude on three platforms,” says Martin Lechner, chief developer and CTO at Mobilizy.
The application can be downloaded for free at the Nokia Store Ovi.

Dear Mrs./Mr.,
I kindly suggest you to allow other Symbian 5th devices to use your excellent application. I have in mind the Samsung Omnia HD (GT i8910) and the Sony-Ericsson Satio.
Please consider that only Nokia devices owners can download apps from Ovi Store.
Thank you for your attention.
Best regards,
D. Giunchi
