We are doing our small part to encourage the nascent mobile AR community to grow and develop. We REALLY want to help improve and enhance how people interact with information in real-life contexts and situations.

    Hi Nicola,

Can i check how do i go about removing the “Beta” Watermark? (I have already got the api-key but don’t know what to do with it.)

  • George
    07. May 2010

Ok, your API looks very nice but i have multiple questions.
    Is the api completly free?
If yes will it be free for ever?
Why we have to request for a key?
Do we have acces to all source code and the rights to modify?
Can i use your api for commercial development?
Do i must show in the app that i use your API by any way?

I have other questions but it’s enought for the moment.

Thanks! ;) and sorry for my poor english…

    Hi George,
Thx for your interest in our API. Here are short answers to your questions.
    - The API is free if your application is non-commercial
    - There can be changes in the license model in the future (but not in the near future)
    - We like to know which applications are out there using our API
    - You have some modification possibilities (to check what you can change, please have a look at the demo apps)
    - Yes you can use the application for commercial use (but a license fee, which is defined in case-by-case approach, will be charged)
    - Our logo is shown in the cam view.

If you need more details, you’re very welcome to contact me per mail (nicola.radacher(at)mobilizy.com.
    Greetings
    Nicola

Is there a way to set the default range that Wikitude starts out with? Right now it goes to a maximum of 18534.7km and picks up everything in my poi list.
